DONG CHEN

Assistant Professor, Computer Science

Dong Chen is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Chen’s  research aims to build data-driven experimental computer systems to make Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) more energy-efficient and more secure.

Recently, Dr. Chen has been looking into CPS system sustainability and data privacy problems spanning different scales, from loT and Edge Computing devices, smart homes and buildings, renewable energy systems, smart grids, and smart cities.
