IAM-RET
Interdisciplinary Additive Manufacturing Research Experience for Teachers
Program Overview
In summer 2025, high school teachers who are interested in additive manufacturing are invited to participate in a 6-week full-time program on Mines campus during June and July 2025. The Mines Interdisciplinary Additive Manufacturing Research Experience for Teachers (IAM-RET) program will provide teachers with hands on experience in 3D printing research and AM certification curriculum. This will also provide teachers the opportunity to incorporate an interdisciplinary approach at their home high school’s 3D course. Participants are expected to attend the program full time Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm on the Mines campus. Upon successful completion of the 2025 summer program, each participant will receive a $7,000 stipend.
